Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing the API, or using the services provided by StructVector ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

StructVector provides a semantic layer for structured data, offering Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for generating structure-aware vector embeddings, anomaly scores, and classification probabilities from JSON events.

3. API Usage and Throughput

3.1 Capacity Units. Services are billed based on "Events Per Second" (EPS) capacity units. You acknowledge that purchasing a specific tier (e.g., 10 EPS) grants you the right to ingest data at that sustained rate.

3.2 Rate Limiting. StructVector enforces strict rate limits based on your purchased capacity. Events sent beyond your purchased capacity and available burst tokens may be dropped or queued at our discretion. StructVector is not liable for data loss resulting from exceeding your provisioned throughput.

3.3 Fair Use. The "Hobby" (Free) tier is subject to fair use policies. We reserve the right to terminate free accounts that place undue strain on our infrastructure or attempt to circumvent rate limits.

4. AI and Inference Disclaimer

4.1 Probabilistic Nature. You acknowledge that the Service uses machine learning and statistical models ("AI"). AI outputs, including anomaly scores, risk classifications, and vector embeddings, are probabilistic in nature and may contain errors.

4.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy. StructVector does not guarantee that the Service will detect all anomalies, fraud, or logic drifts. The Service is a support tool designed to assist, not replace, human judgment or deterministic rule engines.

4.3 Limitation of Liability for Decisions. You are solely responsible for any decisions, automated or otherwise, made based on the outputs of the Service. StructVector shall not be liable for any financial loss, business interruption, or damages resulting from reliance on the Service's predictions (e.g., false positives blocking valid transactions).

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Data. You retain all rights, title, and interest in the data you submit to the Service ("Input Data"). You grant StructVector a limited license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.2 Our Technology. StructVector retains all rights to the underlying software, models, algorithms, API specifications, and infrastructure. The generated embeddings and scores are licensed to you for your internal business use.

6. Fees and Payment

Subscription fees for Paid Tiers are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable. You agree to pay all applicable fees related to your use of the Service. We reserve the right to change our pricing upon 30 days' notice.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. STRUCTVECTOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL STRUCTVECTOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.
